What are the privacy polices for BirdBrain software?

Your privacy is critically important to us. At BirdBrain Technologies, we have a few fundamental principles:

  • All BirdBrain software is designed to be safe to use for children under the age of 13.
  • Apps only request permission to access data that the app needs to function.
  • Your personal information is never transmitted to BirdBrain Technologies.

The privacy policies for specific apps are as follows:

  • BlueBird Connector: This app requires permission to use Bluetooth.
  • FinchBlox: This app requires permission to use Bluetooth, which requires location permission on Android.
  • BirdBlox: This app requires permission to use Bluetooth, which requires location permission on Android. The location is also used for the latitude and longitude blocks. Microphone permission is required for recording sounds. Permission for motion sensors is required for blocks that enable you to control your robot using the motion of the tablet.

  • Cube 3 App Privacy Policy: This app requires permission to use Bluetooth, which requires location permission on Android.
  • Cube 6 App Privacy Policy: This app requires permission to use Bluetooth, which requires location permission on Android.

This Privacy Policy applies to www.birdbraintechnologies.com (“the Site”) and our subdomains such as snap.birdbraintechnologies.com, etc, and governs our data collection, processing and usage practices. Our ecommerce store, at subdomain store.birdbraintechnologies.com, requires more data (such as billing/shipping addresses) and therefore is governed by a different privacy policy, accessible here. If you do not agree with the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use these services.
